huge Santa galleries

Recently ran across Christmas Whispers, which features the Santa carvings of Bill Evans.

He's got an incredible collection of carvings for sale, most very reasonably priced indeed. I may just have to pick up one or two (or three, or four...) before the season is out.

If you're a Santa collector, this is one site you must make time to visit.

the art of teri embrey

I've known about Teri for years, of course, because Reasons to Believe is one of my all-time favourite Santa stores.

She specializes in Santa carvings; a very down-to-earth style without being too folksy. They're really quite lovely, as you can see below:

Sadly, I don't yet have one of her pieces, though I have two in my Reasons to Believe wish list.

She sent me a lovely note this morning to say see enjoyed reading this wee Santa blog, so I thought I'd give her a bit of a showcase here, and give a very public thank-you for the kind note!

carved wooden santas

I didn't always like carved wooden santas (too folksy for my tastes) but there are some beautiful ones out there. Just ran across a whole site that sells nothing but: Walter's Carved Santas. I've seen several already that I want.
